17). Mindset: The New Psychology of Success by Carol Dweck (hard copy)or the Audiobook.

If you work with children and lead people, you need to read this book. I got this book as a gift from my children’s school council when I volunteered as a treasurer. This book opened my eyes to the difference between raising kids with fixed mindset and kids with growth mindset.

This book should be read by all teachers and coaches. You will learn a whole new way of teaching that works in the long term.

18). The Teenage Investor by Timothy Olsen

Teaching kids about money and how to grow money is a great lesson a child should have. Many parents do not have the tools and knowledge to teach this subject to their kids. Hence, kids grow up without a sound knowledge of money.

I got this book for my 11 year old son. He has been asking many questions and has learned a lot since he read this book.

This is a perfect book for  teenagers or adolescents. You and your kids would love it. So, you can give this as a holiday present.

19). Crushing It!: How Great Entrepreneurs Build Their Business and Influence-and How You Can, Too by Gary Vaynerchuk

I bought this audio book from audible this June. The voice of Gary Vee kept me up at night and pushed to me start my blog in July and other online businesses.

After reading this book / listening to the author, you will discover that you have been sleeping on the internet. There is money to be made on the internet. Read this book if you have been thinking of ways to join the gig economy.

It is one of the most powerful books I have read on online entrepreneurship.

20). Finding My Virginity by Richard Branson

I was intrigued after reading Richard Branson’s Losing My Virginity. He bare his soul in this book. He told the incredible story of how he built Virgin from a student magazine into one of the greatest brands in history  and stories about his love for taking extreme risks.

He first lost his virginity, now he has found it in Finding My Virginity, where he writes about his never-ending quest to push boundaries, break rules, and seek new frontiers. Richard never stops even after creating his Virgin conglomerates.

There’s nothing wrong with buying one of these books for yourself. Read it and then pass it along as a gift.

Happy holidays!
