An opportunity for education in technology for Africans who want to learn now and pay later when they have secured a job has come in the form of Lambda School Africa Pilot program.

Lambda School provides a 9-month immersive education program that gives you the tools and training you need to launch your new career in software development—from the comfort of your own home.

According to information from Lambda school website, they train people online to become software engineers at no up-front cost.

Some of the courses in the Lambda school curriculum are Web Development, Data Science, Android Development, iOS Development, UX Design.

Paystack is partnering with the US-based company to bring this education to you in Africa. Paystack helps businesses in Africa with payment processing.

Here’s how it works;

You don’t pay tuition while you learn as a student.

You pay 10% of your income to Lambda school after you are employed for the next 5 years and only if you are making over $15, 000 from the job.

If you don’t get a job after your training or don’t earn up to $15,000, you don’t pay anything.

Apply to the Lambda School Africa Pilot by clicking here. Choose your country and apply.

While this is a great opportunity for some people, be sure to think through this your option and the conditions before making this commitment.
