As defined by Wikipedia, “affiliate marketing is a type of performance-based marketing in which a business rewards one or more affiliates for each visitor or customer brought by the affiliate’s own marketing efforts”. So you can review or explain how to use a product or service from another business to your readers. If anyone of your readers buys the product or uses the service through your personalized link to the product, the company pays you a certain percentage or a flat rate for bringing customers to their business. Your readers will not pay you any money for buying the product through your link, only the company you are an affiliate to will pay you.
